Published in 1995, this first supplement to Jackson Pollock: A Catalogue Raisonné of Paintings, Drawings, and Other Works (here-after: JPCR) contains entries for forty-eight new-found works by Jackson Pollock that have been reviewed and certified authentic by The Pollock- Krasner Authentication Board since the JPCR was published in 1978. It also contains entries for several problematic or minor objects, the texts of a number of documents written by the artist that have come to light since 1978, and a section of corrections and additions to the original JPCR entries.
This supplement is organised according to the JPCR’s original structure, the first two volumes containing the paintings, the third, drawings, and the fourth, other works in various media, problematic objects, and documentation.
